One to One Volunteer
Looking to volunteer in Rochester NY? Through our one to one adult, youth and Veteran programs, we provide healing friendships and mentoring for community members living with mental illness. Our volunteers help us achieve prevention as well as remediation. We also work to shatter the stigma of mental illness and build community-wide understanding and support.
We are confident that Compeer Rochester volunteers receive as much as they give—after all, the many benefits of friendship apply to both people in the pair! Our volunteers get the chance to have a profound impact on someone’s life. Like us on Facebook to see what current volunteers are doing.
You Are More Than Your Mental Illness
Compeer Rochester believes that the path to wellness includes breaking the stigma of mental illness. Through education, community integration, and friendship, we are striving to do just that. Mental illness isn’t something we fight alone. We fight together.
