Compeer Rochester, Inc is seeking a Story & Photo Editor for our Quarterly Newsletter. Student (Junior or Senior) would gain experience interning at Compeer for a year helping to format staff, match, and board member stories for the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer Newsletters. The Outreach Department will help the intern collect the stories from the necessary people and edit for content. Student must have some layout and photography experience, and be able to work with Microsoft Publisher, or another program of their choice (TBD). Added bonus if Student is knowledgeable in Photography and can attend some Compeer events to take pictures to add to the newsletter. Please contact information@compeer.org if interested.

CompeerCORPS Outreach Coordinator Intern:

Compeer Rochester, Inc is seeking a CompeerCORPS Coordinator Intern for our CompeerCORPS Vet to Vet program. The CompeerCORPS Department provides volunteer veteran mentors to veterans in the community who could benefit from a supportive relationship with another veteran. The intern would gain experience at Compeer working with local Veterans while collaborating with the Veterans Outreach center, the oldest non-profit for Veterans in America. Duties would involve maintaining contact and support with Veterans who are awaiting a volunteer, assisting with volunteer processes, and community outreach. Intern must have a mental health/ psychology background and a willingness to obtain basic knowledge of the issues encountered by the Veteran population.
